I'm Shannon, an environment artist from Scotland currently living and making things near Birmingham. 

​

Formerly the lead artist at Dundee based Orthrus Studios, but right now I'm very proud to be a part of the Everwild team at Rare. During my time there I've specialised in foliage and organic asset creation. In my free time however I love working on comics and trying new 3D art styles. My main focus right now is Satellites, a multi platform sci-fi narrative about robots feeling human emotions.

Previous Experience

ENVIRONMENT ARTIST FOR EVERWILD - RARE LTD - TWYCROSS

  • Pipeline exploration specifically for foliage and organic assets 

  • Close partnership with environment concept artists and team leadership to ensure painterly style translates well from 2D to 3D

  • Responsible for full asset creation pipeline, including modelling, sculpting, texturing and implementation

  • Responsible for in-engine implementation (Unreal engine)
